Could 2012 be the year of palladium? Analysts are predicting it to be the best performing precious metal of 2012, Bloomberg reports. Palladium prices have been lagging amid fear that of slow growth in the Chinese auto industry. However, limited supply and resurgent demand for the metal which is used in electronics and autocatalysts is predicted to drive prices up 31% by the end of the year.
